Models, data, freshness, and limits — read this once instead of every time.

What the AI does

AI features on WealthJot — the daily AI Brief, watchlist explainers, the "For you" insights rail, the financial health advisor, and the SIP review — are all generated by a large language model reading YOUR data: your holdings, trades, goals, and watchlists, plus market data already on the platform.

The model summarizes, ranks, and explains what it's given. It does not place trades, move money, or change your portfolio — every actionable suggestion (SIP changes, harvest trades) goes through an explicit review-and-confirm step before anything is applied.

Models

WealthJot uses hosted large language models (currently Gemini-family models) to generate briefs, insights, and explanations. We don't train models on your data, and no portfolio data is used to train third-party models.

Data sources & freshness

Portfolio and trade data comes straight from your imported tradebook and manual entries — as current as your last import.

Market data (prices, news, corporate actions) is refreshed on a schedule, not real-time: most feeds run every few minutes to a few hours; the daily AI Brief and watchlist explainers are generated once a day and show a freshness pill (e.g. "2h ago", "1 day old") so you always know how stale the summary is before you act on it.

Limits

The AI can misread a headline, miscategorize a trade, or miss context you have and it doesn't (a pending sale, a reason you're holding a loser). Scores and suggestions are estimates, not guarantees — always check the underlying numbers before acting.

It has no view of your bank accounts, income, debts, or life circumstances beyond what you've entered on WealthJot, so "health scores" and suggestions are necessarily partial.

SEBI framing — guidance, not investment advice

WealthJot is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. Nothing generated by our AI — briefs, scores, "insights", SIP reviews, harvest plans — is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or tax advice.

Treat every AI surface as a starting point for your own research, not a final answer. For advice tailored to your situation, consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser or a chartered accountant.
