Bollinger Bands

Bollinger Bands wrap a moving average in bands set a couple of standard deviations away, so they breathe with volatility. A “squeeze” (tight bands) flags unusually low volatility that often precedes a breakout; an expansion signals a big move underway. A band touch means “stretched,” not an automatic reversal.
